Darius Coulibaly

I am a special Ed teacher, BSP at Chancellor Hgh school. I have a good group thus far. It might be that thay are in the honey moon stage. It's the beginning of year, they are all following directions and working hard.

It's my responsibility to maintain the level of performance and positive environment.

I am sure that the honey moon will soon end, and emotions will get high and fly around the room. But that 's what the BSP is designed for, supporting those students and enable them to leran and self-manage those emotional and behavioral challenges.

So, it would be a great year!

Darious,
I am glad to hear that your year is going well. You never know it may last this year! Mine is also going well; the students seem a lot more respectful and are showing more effort to learn. However, I am not in the BSP room. I hope that it continues for you! :)

Hi Darius! I am the BSP teacher at Massaponax and my year started off really well, too...but since the first two weeks of school, things haven't been so good. Like you were saying, I think the honeymoon is over. Two of my students have now been suspended and we've only been going for like 3 weeks...probably not the best start! I don't know if this is a good thing or not, but neither one of my students caused trouble in my room...it was during lunch that both of them got into their trouble. Anyway, I hope you have a successful year! Good luck
